Discussion Cost Saving comparsion by Jio - DTH + Broadband Vs JioFiber/AirFiber

If you want to watch linear TV. Go for DTH. JioFiber is a terrible option. You can't switch between channels. Sports without digital rights will be blocked out. Movies without digital rights will be blocked out. Also you will mostly ended up doom scrolling on what to watch. I have premium subscription of pretty much all OTT platforms. I end up watching YouTube anyway. It's best to have curated content. Than have something being pushed to you.

Mostly content is ok but just they need to reduce the ads as we are paying as platform feed around 200 but still ads

Jio should not compare there so called channels with DTH as the mostly channels is not have Primium Feed like DTH premiar movies not play same time on Jios Digital channels. DTH is To good for entertainment compar to JioFiber

And also lots of ads in jio digital channels over and above tv channels ads.

Here Jio is not comparing it's live channels with DTH channels, they are showing DTH is backward/old technology(only for tv) like 2G (only for voice) compare to its Airfiber's multiple benefits (broadband+ott+tv).

Yes but no body explain this channels different while promoting and selling the product they should explane difference between normal channels and. Jio digital channels to users like sony channel never match single programe or movies to it's regular channels and why they mentioned save cost of DTH I'm using DTH Only for sports and watching some TV Channels event that available in jiotv+

I think best deal is to get Fiber from Jio. Thanks to it's availablity. Don't go for the JioFiber box. You will be forced to pay Rs. 200 + GST every month. You have no option to remove it once you have it. Invest one time in a firestick, mi box or best airtel xstream stick. Airtel has curated monthly plans for OTT bundle. Even Tata Play Binge app (available from Play Store) with Amazon Prime and OTT of one's choosing is Rs. 249. Or just go for Netflix for Rs. 200 instead of getting the whole package of Hungama Play, ShemarooMe, Alt Balaji, Zee5 etc.

Yes this approach is right but sad jioairfiber not have that option jio not give wifi only plan for Airfiber User.

Airtel will have much availability in more locations soon over Jio fiber with the help of LCOs, but Jio can't utilise it's cable networks for fiber expansion, relies on 5G/airfiber. Airtel have worst app namely xstream play, no direct login in Sonly liv & Sun nxt like good apps and no Zee5 without it's fiber plan.
