Today I was checking the available mobile networks in my home location and I was able to see Aircel and Dishnet 4G in the carrier list which was not previously visible.
Rcom 4G was present even after shutdown of commercial operations but they have 2100 MHz spectrum in Mumbai so that was fine, but Aircel doesn't have any liberalised spectrum in Mumbai circle and yet I'm seeing the 4G network which is strange.

Is anyone else able to see these in network scan?

I used to get Aircel. May be tower used by other operator on rental basis I guess
The Mobile network code (MNC) is not fixed to a tower. When Aircel shut it's operations it sold off its network gear to other operators to monetize it's assets and the operators who bought it inducted it with their own MNC.
Chances are that Aircel's MNC has been reassigned by DoT to BSNL for Mumbai circle where it is testing it's network. Mobile manufacturers take time to update the reassigned MNCs which get updated through the OS OTA updates.

If it is a BSNL they will definitely need more time to update.

bsnl mumbai is having
404 65 as MNC code

Right and Aircel Mumbai was 405 805
so if it's not BSNL then it is either Aircel itself or the asset management company handling its insolvency and assets including airwaves.
