A petitioner has claimed 4G was auctioned primarily for data usage but govt allowed Reliance Jio to use the spectrum also for voice transmission.

The Supreme Court today issued notices to the central government and the Reliance Jio on a petition alleging foul play in the auction of 4G spectrum.

A bench led by Justice H L Dattu sought responses from them on a plea by NGO Centre for PIL, which claimed the government auctioned it at a much lower price and with a vested notice to benefit Reliance.

It further alleged that 4G was auctioned primarily for data usage but the government allowed the firm to use the spectrum also for voice transmission.

Yes this is true.

Same thing happen 15 years back when reliance India Mobile launched on CDMA network which designed only for fixed line and limited mobile inside city.

And rcom used back door by providing roaming in whole India by call forward facility in sdca to Sdca.

Sdca means short distance charging area. In Simple laymen term area served by std code of town.

This petitioner must be a mad guy. He is out of his mind. SC must reject this kind of cases
