Just got my Mi Notebook Ultra yesterday.. Is this a cause of concern??? Will this get worse overtime or stay the same? Any help will be much appreciated.

I think you should get it replaced if possible. From the image, it looks pretty bad.

Just had a conversation with a friend who runs a laptop shop.. he is saying.. In IPS panels this is common and he said its a "IPS glow" not backlight bleeding.. I am confused..

You bought it yesterday so it's nothing bad to get replacement looks not good so just replaced on time

Yeah.. but this seems too excessive. Check the reviews on Amazon. Some people have posted videos/photos of the same screen with the Mi logo, and their's isn't this bad.

Anyways, there's no harm in getting a replacement.
