With ‌iOS 15‌, each image in the ‌Photos‌ app has a new "Info" button available that displays image format, the details of the camera used to capture it, and the location where it was taken.

Previously, there was no way to view this info in the app.

Apple's new iOS 15 operating system is compatible with all of the iPhones that are able to run iOS 14, including the original iPhone SE, the iPhone 6s, and the ‌iPhone‌ 6s Plus.

On the photos app, the new Info button will also tell you which app on your device that an image was saved from if you didn't take it using your camera.

iOS 15 allows apps request more RAM when needed. Currently this is capped at 5 GB, even for the devices like M1 iPad Pro with 16 GB RAM.
