A 4.6 magnitude earthquake struck the India-Pakistan border region today, the Met department said, with tremors felt in cities like Amritsar and Jalandhar in Punjab.
The earthquake struck 15 km beneath surface around 5:24 pm, the Indian Meteorological Department said.
Tremors were felt in Lahore, Sheikhupura and other areas of Pakistan, news agency ANI reported.
