NEW DELHI — Police said 13 children have been killed when a train crashed into their school bus at an unmanned railroad crossing in southern India.
Police officer Ravi Nallamala said another 16 children aged 7 to 14 have been injured in the accident on Thursday and hospitalized in Medak district in Telengana state.
Other details are not immediately available. The area is nearly 1,500 kilometers south of New Delhi.
