Uber has added 3 new safety features in India
1. RideCheck activates in the event of a long, unexpected stop or other irregularities in a ride. Uber calls both the rider and the driver to check if everything is alright.
2. Four-digit pin is now required to verify if you are in the right car. Until you provide that authentication code, your ride will not begin.
3. In-ride audio recording feature can record audio in the vehicle during a ride. Riders will have the option to submit the audio at the end of a ride if something happened.
