Reliance Jio allocated MSC codes for Bihar and Gujarat LSA
Reliance Jio gets MSC codes in Bihar and Gujarat LSA to meet demand of one million subscribers each in both circles.
The Department of Telecommunications (DoT) last week allocated new MSC codes to Reliance Jio in two telecom circles, namely Bihar and Gujarat. The allocation of MSC codes was done on 21st July 2022.
The MSC code allocation happened in consideration of the requests of Reliance Jio Infocomm Limited. In Bihar, Reliance Jio has been allocated the ACCESS-MSC code 92340-92349, whereas, in Gujarat, Reliance Jio has been allocated the ACCESS-MSC code 92740-92749.
The allocation will allow Reliance Jio to meet the demand of one million subscribers individually in each circle. The TSP can use the allocation of the MSC code series except for the ported-out subscribers of Tata Teleservices Limited.
Reliance Jio was previously allocated MSC codes for Maharashtra LSA to meet the demand of one million subscribers in the telecom service area.
