OnePlus is gearing up to launch new affordable OnePlus Smart TV in India on July 2, 2020. The company is expected to unveil two new Smart TV models with 32-inch and 43-inch display sizes. Reportedly, OnePlus could also launch the mid-range smartphone, OnePlus Z, in India on July 10.
OnePlus has teased the starting price of the upcoming Smart TV on its OnePlus India Twitter handle. According to the tweet, the price of the Smart TV will start at Rs. 1X,999, which could be between Rs. 10,999 to Rs. 19,999. The TV will be available to purchase via Amazon India website. The tweet also has a “get notified” link that redirects to the Amazon India website. Interested customers can sign up to get notification about the launch and sale date.
Recently, two new OnePlus TV variants have been spotted on the Bluetooth SIG with model numbers 32HA0A00 and 43FA0A00. Based on the model number, the 32HA0A00 OnePlus TV will feature a 32-inch display and likely to come with 1366 x 768 resolution, while the 43FA0A00 OnePlus TV will feature a 43-inch display and is expected to come with 1920 x 1080 screen resolution. Based on the listing, both models will support Bluetooth 5.0 technology.
The upcoming OnePlus Smart TV will be more cost-effective than the last year launched OnePlus TV Q1 and OnePlus Q1 Pro. To recall, the OnePlus TV Q1 is priced at Rs. 69,900, while the OnePlus Q1 Pro is priced at Rs. 99,900. “We’re making our premium smart TV experience more accessible to our Indian community,” said Pete Lau in his tweet.
Besides the affordable Smart TV, OnePlus is also expected to launch a mid-range smartphone, OnePlus Z. According to reports, OnePlus Z will launch in India on July 10, 2020, and will cost Rs. 24,990. The phone is expected to feature a 6.55-inch Super AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate. The phone is said to be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G processor paired with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage. OnePlus Z is likely to come with a 4300 mAh battery with 30W warp charge technology.
