DoT grants 8 new UL-VNO licenses in Q1 FY 22; Velrush Business bags pan India ISP authorization under UL-VNO

The Department of Telecommunications (DoT) granted six new UL-VNO licenses in the April-June 2021 quarter or Q1 FY 22 increasing the number of UL-VNO licenses from 125 as of 30th March 2021 to 133 as of 30th June 2021. The eight new UL-VNO licenses largely include Access Service Cat B authorization.

Intellibuzz Telecom, Speednet AS Network Private Limited, Mahabali Technologies, ADN Broadband Private Limited, Sun Technologies, Velrush Business Networks Private Limited, SSV Digital Private Limited, and Contaque Cloud Private Limited have bagged UL-VNO authorization in the last 3 months.

Velrush Business Networks Private Limited on 24th June bagged ISP-A, NLD, and ILD authorization on a pan-India basis.

The rest new UL-VNO authorizations belonging to Intellibuzz Telecom, Speednet AS Network Private Limited, Mahabali Technologies, ADN Broadband Private Limited, Sun Technologies, SSV Digital Private Limited, and Contaque Cloud Private Limited are Access Service Category-B.
