DoT allocates 2 million M2M numbering series to Bharti Airtel for Delhi LSA

The Department of Telecommunications (DoT) last week allocated a 13 digit M2M numbering series to telecom service provider Bharti Airtel for Delhi LSA. The Telecom Department’ Access Services Wing made the allocation on 17th December 2021 after considering the request filed by telecom giant Bharti Airtel.

Airtel had requested the Telecom Department to allocate fresh new M2M numbering resources to the telecom service provider for Delhi LSA. The Telecom Department had allocated Bharti Airtel 2 million M2M numbering resources for Delhi LSA.

The country code is 91, M2M identifier 3 digits is 575, licensee identifier 4-digits (10000 blocks) is 4205-4206, device number 6 digits (1 million) is xxxxxx as per the numbering series allocation by DoT to Bharti Airtel for Delhi LSA.

The Telecom Department had recently allocated MSC codes to Bharti Airtel for mobile services in Assam LSA in consideration to the request by the telecommunication service provider.
