LG has announced the world's first 8K OLED TV, LG OLED88Z9 at CES 2019 in January this year. The 88 Inch TV has resolution of 7680x4320 pixels.

According to The Verge TV’s retail price is 50 Million won (~₹29 Lakhs), but preorders taken in June will have a reduced price of 40 million won (~₹24 Lakhs) and will come with a free air purifier.

As there is rarely any 8K content available LG will use deep learning algorithms to upscale the images to a higher resolution and generate virtual 5.1 surround sound with support for Dolby Atmos.

My question is, for India it's ok or not? Our broadcasters are showing the high definition as very well(😜😜). And when we expect 8k channels in India?

Even when there is no complete full HD channels given by dths and no 4k wat is the use of 8k in india now?

At first I see way more 0s then I can afford. Even if I somehow manage to buy it. TRAI will make sure 1 channel will be counted as 8 channels. After all that Star will still be airing double header matches on SD channels.
Edit : Also Sony will remaster Sooryavansham in 8k. Imagine watching Heera Thakur coming to save his twin dad in 8k.

For HD they count 2 SD . Even ....32 SD channels become a 8k channel. Man.

Abhinav Bro. We only imagine in mind and be happy. Me a lucky person , a LG 32" LED smart TV got in ₹10k , a factory manager used. But this 8k OLED never comes in my dream also😀😀😀
