I noticed in hd+receiver in the hd settings. Select option for 720p or 1080i.
Which is better .

720p is half HD; 1080p is Full HD; 1080i is Full HD with interactive capability.

p stands for progressive scan and i stands for interlaced scan. 1080p is better than 1080i. 1080i uses half the bandwidth of 1080p thats why 1080i is preferred.
