Off topic : EC should've banned all political post from non verified accounts on any social media sites. Should have also ban political post on encrypted messaging services.
Coming to the topic WhatsApp is very very very late to introduce fact check services. Several murders happened last year. But still Zuckerberg and crew took one year to introduce such basic feature.

The ones wanting to murder/lynch are definitely not the ones who'll be fact checking with that number and then deciding to murder or not. Those murders have stopped because it is election season and secondly because it was getting a bit too much and the concerned political party would have ordered it to be stopped (not saying they ordered the murders in the first place).

Heres a basic principle for Whatsapp: Do not believe any Whatsapp forwards unless proven otherwise
