ViewSonic has announced the launch of its dual-SIM Android-based smartphone, ViewPhone 3, in India. Priced at Rs. 9,990, the ViewPhone 3 runs on Android 2.3 Gingerbread operating system and is powered by an 800 MHz Qualcomm processor.
The ViewPhone 3, was unveiled at the CES 2012 event earlier this year along with ViewPad 10pi and 10e tablets. Speaking of specifications, the phone has 512MB of RAM & ROM while microSD card support enables a 32GB expandable memory. The ViewPhone 3 features a 3.5 capacitive TFT display with 320x480 pixel resolution and a 5MP auto-focus camera. The dual-SIM phone supports 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and USB for connectivity. The device comes with 1,500 mAh battery.
It will soon be available at Reliance Digital outlets in the country.
