Twitter, reportedly, is testing a new feature called "Fave People", which lets users view tweets from their favourite accounts in one place. You can favourite profiles by tapping the star icon on the profiles to see tweets from them under the "Fave People" timeline.

TechCrunch reports that the feature has appeared in the alpha version of Twitter's Android application. This is where Twitter tests its new features before rolling them out to beta testers and general public.

"The alpha app currently uses a swipeable menu across the top for navigation in between sections like Home, Discover, Activity, and more. "Fave People" has a fairly prominent position there, at least for now, as it's placed directly to the right of the main (Home) timeline," says TechCrunch.

It seems that Twitter wants to make the most of of its "favorite" button which has been available previously for some users. It is still not known as to when the company is planning to start rolling out this new feature to public.
