How much was it previously?

It was previously 45 seconds. Then Jio abruptly reduced it to 20 seconds stating that they are not getting enough IUC charges, indirectly converting an outgoing call to a missed call. TRAI intervened and held talks, meanwhile Jio increased it to 25 seconds. Now TRAI made the decision to make it 30 seconds. I think 30 seconds strikes a good balance for all parties. People are partially saved from pathetic Hello tunes!

Yeah, I wish someone did something. It becomes especially annoying when you have an urgent call to place and they start their non-sense IVR before the call.
