Subramaniam Badrinath, who played two Tests, seven ODIs and one T20I, is all set to announce his retirement after the completion of Indian Premier League 2018, a report in Times of India suggests. He skipped 2017/18 season for Hyderabad after seeing no room for international comeback. Though, he did not announce his retirement then.

He did not turn out for Hyderabad in the entire season, that gave indications that he might call it quits soon. He is all set to make an official announcement regarding this once the IPL season is over. The 37-year-old player is currently doing commentary in IPL and is also writing about the league at various platforms.
