Even as most parts of Kashmir Valley limped back to normalcy on Wednesday after remaining paralysed for a day over the killing of two militants and a civilian in security forces actions, a school bus was attacked by a group of stone-pelters in southern Shopian district

First tourists, now school children, stone pelters in Valley hit a desperate new low

As usual no reaction for Amnesty International or other human rights group because stone pelters are human but these kids are not.

A 17-year-old boy was killed and at least 15 others injured Wednesday as security forces opened fire at protesters, who allegedly pelted security personnel with stones to allow trapped Hizbul militants escape during an encounter in south Kashmir’s Shopian. The incident comes hours after a class II student suffered a head injury when the school bus carrying him was attacked by stone pelters in the district.
