Almost two years after an engineer received soaps instead of an iPhone 7Plus from e-commerce platform Snapdeal,a consumer forum has ordered that he be paid Rs 1 lakh as compensation for the wrong delivery.
The Mohali Consumer Forum, which took up the matter on receiving a complaint, has directed Snapdeal, Pious Fashion and courier service Blue Dart to pay Rs one lakh to Parveen Kumar Sharma, a civil engineer.

Instead of these low quality stuff. Why they don't be ebay like service? They have both experience and logistics. Both customers and sellers are desperate for an ebay like alternative in India.
 
Snapdeal has been earmarked by a report on counterfeit products and piracy by the United States Trade Representative, as being one of the biggest e-commerce sellers in the world providing fake products to customers. Arguably the biggest e-commerce platform in India after Amazon and Flipkart, Snapdeal has already had a history of counterfeit and fake products being marketed on its website, as well as sellers with record of marketing fake products being allowed to go unpunished.

Snapdeal is Chinese funded so what we can expect? PayTM and Snapdeal both sell fake and copy product.
