Simmtronics has increased its tablet manufacturing capacity to 3 lakhs per month in order to meet the growing demand of tablets in the country from the corporate and the government sector.

The company is looking at further increasing its manufacturing capacity to six lakh tablets per month by the end of 2012. The company claimed that it has an order booking of over Rs 100 crores including exports to Middle East, Europe and other markets.

"The stronger growth rates of the tablet market have forced us to increase our tablet manufacturing capacity to 3 lakhs units per month. This will help us to meet the ever growing demand of our products in India. In addition to India, we are also exporting these products to Dubai, South Africa and European countries,” said Indrajit Sabharwal, Managing Director, Simmtronics.

Simmtronics has a projection of tablet orders of 2 million units in FY2012-13. The company’s tablet range includes 7 inch and 10 inch resistive and capacitive tablets.
