The Agra unit of the Shiv Sena has announced a reward of Rs 2 lakh for every Hindu family which has five children.

Concerned over the falling growth of Hindu population in the recent census figures, the Sena unit has introduced the reward system, District Chief of the Shiv Sena, Veenu Lavania said on Friday.

Each family that has five kids between 2010 to 2015 will get Rs 2 lakh. The parents will need to furnish birth certificates from the municipal corporation, he added.

Shiv Sena has also expressed concern over the growing Muslim population. They demanded a uniform civil code and an end to the system of “several wives per husband”.

amongst economic development.... few are still indulgent in religion politics..:s

More people more trouble for economy. We should adopt 1 child policy only then we will be superpower

Shiv sena wants to see our country's population to reach new heights hence encouraging people to give births to more and more children. One should not adopt such policies.
