We have been hearing about Samsung building an AI based assistant. Well, Samsung has decided to take the wraps off it and it's public now. There are three main features for this new assistant.

1. Completeness - You'll be able to do everything with the assistant that you can with touch.
2. Context awareness - Assistant can help literally on anything that you are doing currently. Both conventional touch and voice input are supported.
3. Cognitive tolerance - It can work with incomplete or imprecise info. If needed users will be promoted for additional info.

First device that will have Bigsby is the S8.

Samsung is working on a smart speaker powered by its new Bixby voice assistant, according to a report in The Wall Street Journal. The project is said to be codenamed Vega, but little more is known about the device; its features and specifications are apparently yet to be decided, much less a release date.
