Reliance Jio has overtaken Vodafone India to become the second largest carrier by revenue in the Indian telecom space, generating revenues of Rs 6,217 crore in the quarter ended March 2018, up 15% on-quarter.

The new entrant has also quickly narrowed the gap with leader Bharti Airtel whose revenue was Rs 7,087 crore, down about 10% on-quarter, as per data from the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (Trai).

Just unbelievable how their juggernaut is rolling....even with Government support. Damn aggresive. If only the government took care of BSNL...

With less users and tarrif rate compared to those 3, big achievement. So no.1 position is not far for them.

That's very obvious bcoz now everyone is smart why will they pay 500-1500 bill just for a month when Jio is giving all those stuffs in just 399 for 3 months. Personally, most of my family members postpaid number which were with Airtel, Vodafone, Idea, Aircel, RCom are now with Jio Prepaid. Not only bcoz its cheap also bcoz its coverage is every where.
And, we all know that postpaid customers plays very important role in making these numbers high.
