The high-profile chairman of India’s top telecom operator is learnt to have reviewed operations in every Bharti Airtel circle, including in far-flung Assam and the northeastern markets, and reassured the near 18,700 employees that the company is a long-term player with the highest data spectrum capacity, and that it has weathered many a storm and would emerge stronger once the dust settles, three executives aware of the matter told ET.
