Hi guys,

can anyone tell me the steps to take backup of contacts and all the pics from gallery and whatsapp

THe phone is giving me trouble and hence i need to take backup as of now.

let me know the steps to do for contacts and pics

Your Contacts should be on Google- check what "Contacts" do u use, open any contact and it shows where it is stored. It should not be "Phone" or "SIM".

For Photos, etc. use Mi Cloud. It gives you 5GB free space. Check ur requirement and upload, else even Google Photos is by default the best option.
Google photos compresses to:
Photos: 16 Megapixel
Videos: 720p

Good enough for the ones clicked by Redmi Note 4.
