As per a report by 91Mobiles, the Redmi 9 will be powered by MediaTek Helio G70 SoC and sport a 6.6-inch Dot notch display. It will at least in 4GB RAM and 64GB storage configuration, though there are likely to be more variants in the works. While the exact Redmi 9 launch date is not clear, the handset is likely to go official in Q1 in China, quickly followed by a release in India.
Redmi 9 with MediaTek Helio G70 chipset to launch early next year

It won't launch soon in India. Redmi follows an 8-10 month refresh cycle for its smartphones. At least May, maybe even July for Redmi 9..

Usually the number series comes in budget segment (under 10000) and note series under mid range (10000-20000). But now redmi 9 neared to note series, in price and spec aspects. It is unfair.

But this is exact conversation euro to rupee value let's see the India price while launch .. I hope guess it must be 10K or 9K range 🙂

Yes. Hope so. The preceder redmi 8's online selling price is 9500. So redmi 9 may cost more than that. As per the specs which is closer to Redmi note 8/ 8 pro the price can be more than 10000.
I guess, 3+32 GB Varient- 9999/10499.
4+64 GB- 10999/11499.

As per leaks there would be 9C in addition to 9A. This may be the reason why Xiaomi pushed 9 to next segment. Now customer has one more choice and 9C should be the successor to 8.
