Redmi 7 has been launched in China as the successor to last year's Redmi 6 smartphone. The new budget phone by Xiaomi sports a 19:9 display and runs Android 9 Pie with MIUI 10 on top. The Redmi 7 also comes with an octa-core Snapdragon 632 SoC, paired with up to 4GB of RAM. Xiaomi has offered a 4,000mAh battery on the Redmi 7. Redmi 7 price in China starts at CNY 699 (roughly Rs. 7,100).The phone will succeed the Redmi 6 that was launched last year. Alongside Redmi 7, Xiaomi has also brought Redmi Note 7 Pro to China.

IMO the new Redmi 7 is priced a little bit higher. Normally they launch phones with same price as in China. Thus the 3+32 GB variant should be priced around ₹8K. Sadly, it's ₹9K.
