This week half a dozen devices were launched in the Indian market, some prominent ones while most not so great ones. Nonetheless, here we have listed all the devices which were formally announced in the country.

Samsung Galaxy S7 , S7 Edge

Earlier this week, Samsung launched the Galaxy S7 (32GB) and Galaxy S7 Edge (32GB) in India. The S7 is priced at Rs 48,900 while the S7 Edge is priced at Rs 56,900. You can prebook the Samsung Galaxy S7 or S7 Edge from March 8 to March 17. Samsung is also offering VR headset for free on prebooking.

The Galaxy S7 has a 5.1 inch display while the S7 Edge has a 5.5 inch screen - both offer the same Quad HD resolution. As the name suggests, the S7 Edge has edge display, as is seen in S6 Edge while the S7 has the traditional look. These phones are also water and resistant and thus have been IP68 certified.

Both of them have 12 megapixel rear camera with F1.7 aperture (the lowest for a smartphone till date) and hence should offer brighter images. Moreover Samsung claims to have employed something called "dual pixel" technology which, in which "each and every one of the pixels on the image sensor has two photodiodes instead of one, meaning the professional-grade Dual Pixel Sensor can focus as quickly and as accurately as you would with your own eyes".

Besides, the rear cameras of S7 and S7 Edge are armed with phase detection auto focus, motion panorama, motion photo, and hyper lapse features. They have 5 megapixel front cameras that come with wide selfie mode.

Besides, Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge have 4 GB RAM, 200 GB micro SD card slot, hybrid dual SIM (the SIM2 slot can be used for micro SD card or the SIM2), and Samsung Exynos chipset (in the US S7 will come with Snapdragon 820 CPU). The S7 has a 3000 mAh battery while S7 has a 3600 mAh battery. Both the phones come with wireless charging and Quick charging facilities. Ofcourse they have the latest Android Marshmallow operating system. Both the smartphones come in 64GB storage variants as well, but as of now Samsung has not shared any details of the launch in India.

InFocus Bingo 20

Launched at Rs 5,749, InFocus Bingo 20 comes with a 4.5-inch FWVGA (854 × 480 pixels) FWVGA IPS display. It is powered by a 1.5 GHz quad-core Spreadtrum SC9830 processor which is coupled with 1GB. The device runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system out of the box and has a customised interface called Inlife UI 2.0.
InFocus Bingo 20 comes with an 8 megapixel rear camera with F/2.2 aperture, autofocus and LED flash. For selfies, it comes with a 5 megapixel front camera. The Bingo 21 comes with an 8 GB in-built storage which can be expanded to upto 64GB through a micro SD card. It has a 2,300 mAh battery.

For connectivity it has 2G/3G, WiFi, GPS/AGPS, Bluetooth, and micro-USB port along with dual SIM and ofcourse 4G. The phone measures 136.8 x 67 x 10.82 mm. InFocus Bingo 20 is available in White, Blue and Orange colour variants.

Oppo F1 ICC WT20 Limited Edition

It has the same specs as the original Oppo F1 but this limited edition version comes in with a gift kit which includes ICC WT20 2016 key chain, selfie stick to click your selfies with a range and a stylish back cover showcasing the ICC logo.
The Oppo F1 limited edition boasts an 8 megapixel front camera and a 13-megapixel auto focus rear camera with f/2.2 aperture and LED flash. The front 8-megapixel camera has f/2.0 aperture. The camera features include Beautify 3.0, 8 live colour filters, and the smartphone's screen can also be used as a flash in low-light conditions to enhance the picture quality.

This dual SIM smartphone features a 5-inch HD (720x1280 pixels) IPS display with 2.5D Gorilla Glass 4 protection and is powered with an 1.7GHz octa-core Snapdragon 616 processor along with 3GB of RAM and Adreno 405 GPU.

The Oppo F1 runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system with Color 2.1 on top of it and get the power from 2,500 mAh battery. The handset comes with 16GB of internal storage, which can be further expandable by up-to 128GB via a micro SD card. For connectivity, it offers 4G, WiFi, GPS, Bluetooth and a micro USB port.

Panasonic T50

The Panasonic T50 smartphone runs on Android 5.1 (Lollipop) operating system with company's newly introduced SAIL user interface on top it. "The user interface offers various features like switching between multiple apps, organize apps by genre, control onscreen operations with gestures, enhanced visual layout and improved folder management for easy access," the company said in a press release.

The T50 has a 4.5-inch FWVGA (480 x854p) display. It is powered by a 1.3 GHz quad-core processor, which is clubbed with 1GB of RAM and is backed up by a 1600 mAh battery. The Panasonic T50 offers 8GB of internal storage, which can be further expandable up-to 32GB via a micro SD card. The smartphone is armed with a 5-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 2-megapixel front camera. Further, the smartphone offers Dual SIM, 3G, WiFi (802.11b/g/n), Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, Proximity sensor, ALS & Accelerometer. The handset measures 131.7 x 66.3 x 8.8 mm.

F&D A180X

It was launched at Rs 3,990. This 2.1 speaker system has a 42-watt speaker system and comes with two satellite speakers and a subwoofer cabinet.

The F&D A180X features a wide range of connectivity options, including Bluetooth 4.0,RCA connectivity to pair with TV sets and DVD players; built-in Digital FM Radio with memory to store upto 100 favorite stations; USB Flash drive connectivity and SD card slot to allow convenient access to music playlists; and a 3.5mm line-in for connection to portable media players, smart-phones, laptops and tablets and control the speaker system with a Fluorescence full function wireless remote.

The F&D A180X said to have Bluetooth operation range of up to 15 meters. The speakers also sports a bright white LED display with a clear view angle.

Blu Diva II,Tank II

US based handset maker, Blu launch these two new feature phones in India, which are named as Diva II and Tank II. Both the features phones are available on Amazon India. The Diva II is priced at Rs 1,499.00, while the Tank II is priced at Rs 1,299.

The highlight of Blu Diva II and Blu Tank II is their built in analog TV feature.
The Diva II comes with an alpha numeric keypad and a small 2.4 inch QVGA (240x320 pixels) display. This Dual SIM phone get the power from 1100 mAh battery, which claims to offer up-to18 hours of talk time and up-to 650 hours of standby16 hours of conversation and up to 30 days of standby. The phone has a VGA camera with LED flash. The phone comes with 32MB RAM, 32MB of Internal memory and expandable storage slot with 32 GB capacity. Further, this 2G phone offers Bluetooth 3.0, MP3/MP4 Player, FM Radio and a Torch. The handset measures 128 x 55.7 x 12 mm and weighs 76 grams. The Diva II comes in two color options- Grey and White.

The Tank II also comes with an alpha numeric keypad and a small 2.4 inch QVGA (240x320 pixels) display. This Dual SIM phone get the power from 1900 mAh battery, which claims to offer up-to 16 hours of talk-timne and up to 30 days of standby. This phone too has a VGA camera with LED flash. The phone comes with 32MB RAM, 32MB of Internal memory and a 8GB MicroSD card slot. Further, this 2G phone offers Bluetooth 3.0, MP3/MP4 Player, and FM Radio. The handset measures 121 x 50.5 x 14 mm and weighs 99 grams. The Tank II comes in four different colors- Black-Blue, Black-Red, Black-Yellow and White-Blue.

Coolpad Dazen 11

Dazen 11 was made available earlier this week for Rs 8,477. The Coolpad Dazen 11 is available exclusively through Amazon India. It comes in silver colour.

Coolpad Dazen 11 features a 5-inch qHD (540 x 960 pixels) IPS display with Gorilla Glass protection. It runs on an older Android 4.4.2 Kitkat operating system. This dual SIM smartphone is powered by a 1.6 GHz quad core MediaTek MTK6582M processor and has 2GB RAM. For graphics, it has the Adreno 306 GPU.
The Coolpad Dazen 11 offers 8 GB of built-in storage and a memory card slot using which you can increase its memory to up to 32 GB via a micro SD card. It has a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera as well. The smartphone is packed with 2500 mAh battery.

Its connectivity options include 2G, 3G, 4G/ LTE, GPRS/EDGE, WiFi, GPS/AGPS, Bluetooth 4.0, FM Radio and micro USB. The phone measures 134 x 67 x 10 mm and weighs 136 grams.

Intex Aqua Twist

The smartphone was quietly launched earlier this week for Rs 5,199. The smartphone comes in white and black colours.

The USP of this smartphone is its 5-megapixel twisting camera module (Rotating Camera), which can be used as rear as well as front camera. The camera comes with an LED flash. This auto focus camera has Pixel Size (Micron) 1.4um, F2.8 Aperture, OV5648 Sensor and video recording ability.

The Intex Aqua Twist features a 5-inch FWVGA (480x854p) display, It is powered by a 1.3 GHz quad-core (Mediatek MT6580m Chipset) processor which is paired with 1GB of RAM and Mali-400MP2 GPU. The smartphone runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system and comes packed with a 2200 mAh li-ion battery, which claims to offer up-to 18 hours of talk-time and up-to 275 hours standby time.

The Intex Aqua Twist comes with 8GB of internal storage, which can be further expanded by up-to 32GB via a micro SD card. For connectivity, the device offers Dual SIM, 3G, Bluetooth 2.0, GPS/ AGPS, and a micro USB 2.0 port. The handset measures 144 x 72 x 8.4 mm and weighs around 175 grams. It has G-Sensor, Proximity and Light sensor. The smartphone comes loaded with apps like Matrabhasha, Intex Service, OLX, Amazon, Goibibo, Freecharge, Newshunt, Follo, Opera Mini, Saavn, and Hike Messenger.
