India`s state-run oil marketing companies, which control over 90 percent of the retail fuel market in the country, are mulling a plan that would allow daily changes in the price of automotive fuels, Economic Times reported on Friday.

State-owned and India`s biggest oil marketing company Indian Oil Corp Ltd and its two smaller peers Bharat Petroleum and Hindustan Petroleum are considering ways to roll out the plan to review petrol and diesel prices daily, executives from the firms told the daily.

Not so sure whether this will be good for all of us customers if we consider price. But, there would be no shortages & malpractices by pump owners if it happens.

Bad days are coming. US has just launched missile strike against Russian backed forces so oil prices set to rise

Instead of daily, a weekly price change wud be much appreciated!

Why? because, daily updates may take time to be implemented and the petrol pump guys give out erroneous pricing on a daily basis
