Guys, got a new home theatre sony Dav TZ-140 as a gift from by brother in law in Dubai which doesn't have Optical In port.

Unfortunately due to the above iam unable to get the 5.1 dolby sound in TV channels using HT which am connecting through a Audio out jack 1 end in tv & 2 RCA cables(red & white) to home theatre.

So bros are there any options to get better sound with the any other connection methods or need to change home theatre only?

Am very annoyed that it gives below average Analog sound in TV channels using airtel digital tv.

So awaiting your suggestions, Thanks in advance.

For true 5.1 you need either a optical in or hdmi in. If both are missing, you can uae prologic mode to get artificial 5.1 via rca to increase quality.

Check in the specs if both your TV & HT have ARC feature, otherwise it's a waste.
If I am in your situation I would sell it.
The market price is around 10,000 for new.
Even if u get 7k or 6000, You can get same configuration HT from philips with both HDMI ARC & Optical in.

TV has Arc feature & Home theatre has Hdmi out feature bro.

Also can we be able to connect & play mobile phone content through HT? If possible how ll be the output, the same as TV with the current connection?
