Today we’re going to take a look at 5 hilarious texting fails. In these videos, the smartphone owners became completely detached from the world around them and luckily for us (unluckily for them) it was caught on camera. The best texting fails are the ones where no one is seriously injured, so remember people, if we have this much trouble walking and texting, think twice before texting behind the wheel.
1. First up we have security footage of a gentleman who was walking around a hotel in Richmond. While he manages to narrowly dodge the plant, he hits the wall dead on.
2. Next up we have the famous video of a woman walking into a fountain at the Berkshire Mall while texting and walking. This video went viral a while back, so you may have seen it, but it doesn’t stop being funny.
3. The mall is apparently a dangerous place to walk around with your nose buried in your phone. This guy finds the sign the hard way.
4. Ahhhh…. live television. Home of some of the best fails in human history. Keep an eye out the window behind the reporter. You see that small set of 3 steps? She doesn’t.
5. This might be the best one of all. The local news stations were following a bear that mysteriously appeared roaming the streets of La Crescenta, CA. As the bear turns down one alleyway, a man approaches from the other side of the frame walking and texting. Luckily for him, he looks up in time and escapes without harm.
