NEW DELHI: Micromax has launched
a new Intel-powered 8-inch Android
tablet - Canvas Tab P666 at Rs
10,999. The tablet will be available
starting November 29.

The tablet is 7.9mm thick, weighs
310.5grams and sports a glass finish
with aluminium rim on the sides. It
will be available in magnetic black
and alluring white colour variants.

Micromax Canvas Tab P666 sports an
8-inch WXGA (800x1200p) IPS
display. Powered by a 1.2GHz Intel
Atom Processor Z2520 and 1GB RAM,
the budget tablet has 8GB internal
storage and a microSD card slot that
supports cards up to 32GB capacity.
It runs Android 4.4 KitKat.

The tablet features a 5MP rear
camera (with support for full-HD
video capture) and a 2MO front-
facing camera. It comes with a
4400mAh battery and the company
claims the tablet will offer up to 15
hours talk time and 325 hours of
standby time.

In terms of connectivity, Canvas Tab
P666 supports 3G for both voice
calling and data, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0
and GPS.

The tablet comes pre-loaded with
apps such as Bookmyshow, Hike,
Swift Key keyboard, Dr. Safety virus
scanning system and Opera Mini
browser in addition to Micromax's
own app and content stores.
