Lenovo on Friday launched a slightly
more powerful variant of the popular
Lenovo A6000 smartphone, the Lenovo
A6000 Plus, priced at Rs. 7,499.

Registrations for the smartphone's first
flash sale via Flipkart on April 28 will
begin on Friday, 2pm IST.

The dual-SIM supporting Lenovo A6000
Plus is identical to the Lenovo A6000
except for featuring twice the RAM and
inbuilt storage. The handset equips 2GB
of RAM and 16GB of inbuilt storage as
compared to the Lenovo A6000's 1GB
and 8GB inbuilt storage.

The smartphone features a 5-inch HD
(720x1280 pixels) IPS display and is
powered by a 64-bit 1.2GHz quad-core
Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 (MSM8916)
SoC with Adreno 306 400MHz GPU. The
Android 4.4.4 KitKat-based smartphone
runs Lenovo's Vibe UI 2.0 skin on top. It
features Dolby Digital Plus speakers.

Other specifications include an 8-
megapixel autofocus rear camera with
LED flash; a 2-megapixel front camera;
apart from a 2300mAh battery that is
rated to deliver up to 11 days of standby
time on 2G/ 3G, and up to 22 hours of
talk-time on 2G and 13 hours on 3G.

The Lenovo A6000 Plus supports the
same 4G bands as the A6000, i.e., FDD
800MHz / 1800MHz / 2100MHz /
2600MHz (Band 1, 3, 7, 20), and TDD
2300MHz (Band 40). The smartphone
measures 141x70x8.2mm and weighs
128 grams.

Lenovo last week launched its P70
smartphone at Rs. 15,999. Some of the
key specifications of the handset include
5-inch HD (720x1280 pixels) IPS displa
1.7GHz octa-core MediaTek (MT6752)
processor, 2GB of RAM, Mali T760-MP2
GPU, 16GB of inbuilt storage, expandabl
via microSD card (up to 32GB), 13-
megapixel autofocus rear camera, and 5
megapixel fixed-focus front-facing
camera.

The company also touts the Quick
Charge feature of the Lenovo P70 that
allows it get fully charged in 3 hours
while a 15-minute charge offers up to 4
hours of talk time.

I am a Lenovo A6000 user, its an Excellent mobile within that price.
 
Lolipop has been launched almost an year ago still companies are launching phones with kitkat and when the upgrade comes it makes the phone buggy and laggy

I think it's because lollipop is a flop. I personally hated it on my moto G and downgraded to KitKat!!
