New Delhi: Lava has launched a new
selfie-focused smartphone in India.
Named the Lava Iris Selfie 50, the
phone comes with a 5-megapixel
auto-focus front camera with LED
Flash and an 8-megapixel auto-focus
BSI II rear camera with HD recording
and dual flash. According to Lava,
the Real Night Flash camera feature
enables users to capture images with
good clarity even in low-light
conditions.

Priced at Rs 7,699, the Lava Iris Selfie
50 features a 5-inch IPS Full
Lamination LCD screen with a screen
resolution of 854x480 pixels.

The dual-SIM LAVA Iris Selfie 50 is
powered by a 1.2 Ghz quad-core
processor paired with 1GB of RAM. It
comes with 8 GB of internal storage
that is expandable up to 32 GB via a
microSD card.

The phone runs on Android 4.4
KitKat. On the connectivity front, it
supports Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, USB and
3G/Edge connectivity. It is fuelled by
a 2400 mAh battery.

Lava launched a new affordable
smartphone which targets the ‘selfie’
lovers in particular and goes by the
name Iris Selfie 50. The device is
listed on their website and is priced
at Rs 7,999.

The smartphone sports a 5MP front
facing camera with auto-focus and an
LED flash unit to make it appealing
for their selfie-enthusiast crowd.

There is an 8MP rear camera with
dual LED flash and it also supports
HD recording.

The new phone from Lava features a
5 inch display with an IPS LCD screen
and has a resolution of 854×480
pixels. The smartphone has 1.2GHz
quad-core processor paired with 1GB
of RAM. The chipset used in the Lava
Iris 50 has not been mentioned. Its
runs on Android 4.4.2 KtitKat and
supports a dual-SIM configuration.

The phone has a built-in storage of
8GB and can be expanded up to
32GB via microSD card. In terms of
connectivity, the
smartphone supports Wi-Fi,
Bluetooth, USB and 3G/Edge
connectivity. It packs in a 2,400mAh
battery.

Recently, the company had launched
their Lava Iris 500 for Rs 5,499. The
phone has a 5-megapixel rear
camera with LED flash along with a
0.3MP front facing camera.
