Jio NETWORK issues in home location only

My friend have acer 4g phone in this phone jio NETWORK not available in Home location but when he goes to other city or town NETWORK available . What is the unable to understand. Please any one if solutions available

Looks like Acer Phones in Indian Market supports these 4G LTE bands - 800, 1800, 2100, 2600

Where as Jio has its signals on 850Mhz, 1800Mhz and 2300Mhz..

So the 4G band on which Jio gives signal and your friend's phone supports is Band 3 (1800Mhz).

It's look like at your friend's home location Jio won't be having signals at 1800Mhz. And other places where he go, jio has band 3 (1800Mhz) signals.. So he is getting signals in other cities or town and not at his home.

Jio has recently started towers on 850 mhz. Many of the 4g phones are not supporting LTE 850 mhz band. So this is very common problem in villages with jio

not recently..they have started giving signals on 850Mhz from last July. So now its about to be 1 year. 

and yes, many of the old 4G phones doesn't support 850Mhz. Including mine (Moto G3)..

but new phones have all LTE bands which Indian operators support
