Indian railways had officially launched it's mobile app. You can book tickets and do more on your mobile using this official app. Link is given below.

Ya i downloaded this app yesterday, not showing booking history but it is very nice app, very smooth.

coming and the official IRCTC
Android app is finally available for
download on Google Play.

Unlike most other popular service
providers, IRCTC bypassed the more
popular Android and iOS platforms
and instead launched its mobile apps
first for Windows Phone and
BlackBerry 10 devices. IRCTC also has
an app for Windows 8.

The IRCTC Android app is called
IRCTC Connect and is a 12MB
download from Google Play.
Released
on October 9, the app has received
an average rating of 4.3/5 from
users.

The app allows users to login to their
IRCTC accounts and search, book,
view and cancel Indian Railways train
tickets. The app can also alert users
about upcoming journeys.

According to IRCTC the app can also
be used to book tatkal tickets.

The IRCTC Connect app is compatible
with Android version 4.1 and above.

The app is updated with the below changes.

- Issue reported in version 1.1.1 fixed.

- Username/Password related issues resolved.

- Remember Me option implemented for Password also.

- Login,Cancellation,PNR Status,Booking History allowed between 08:00 to 12:00.

- Reported Bugs fixed.

- App size reduced to approx 6 MB.
