Good News Installed Airtel Xstream Fiber+IPTV in Bangalore

That update account option is removed after recent app updates. Till April month I also used to get the old UI by following same steps, then Airtel removed/hidden it totally.

I don't think such workarounds are foolproof solution anyways.

@Bapun bro i am damn sure you are using airtel thanks app beta version thats why you are not getting that option.

Me also not getting that option as i am beta tester but if i use same account credentials on regular version of airtel thanks app then that account update option is visible. But that option is also of no use now because airtel patched now from backend that we can only select ultimate black plan only of 350 rs.

Even in old interface that option is gone now.


Anyways guys there is still one option

Open your IPTV box homepage and go to plans and offers screen thete is still non Black ultimate packs are showing with buy pack option. Check once there are SD only packs also available.

Yes because iptv works along with black entertainment packs only it's not seperate unit like dth and you can not use IPTV box in prepaid mode by unlinking it from fiber black plans.

They intentionally disabled it to prevent black plan members to select other packages than black ultimate plans.

I think we can still change packages with trai channel selector app but i personally didn't tried it. If anyone tried then please let us know.

Buddy 'Update Account' section is available to any user who opts for Airtel Services ... It is basically a section where name, address, mail ID etc. can be updated so whether one uses individual airtel services or Airtel Black DTH or IPTV combo plans, this section is available as it basically is meant to update account details
