Union Minister Suresh Prabhu on Wednesday said Indian Railways are working to run fully solar-powered trains in the future. Prabhu said this after flagging-off the first freight train which featured a newly-developed guard van, which uses solar power to run fans and lights. We care for our environment,” the Railway Minister tweeted.

Prabhu said the Indian Railways is committed to providing “good working conditions” to its employees. “Indian Railways committed to providing good working conditions for its employees and customers,” Prabhu tweeted. ”
