HTC today announced Android 8.0 Oreo for 3 devices..

HTC is in that phase where it has to more focus on device price. Ya I know they want premium access to the market but they should come with more devices regularly most importantly with budget devices. U11 price is too much in front of the specification. Soon One Plus will take place of HTC as they give the price of the devices as per requirement.
