We are inching closer towards the end of this year, and the rumor mills, not surprisingly, are moving towards next year’s flagship devices. After the likes of Samsung Galaxy S8 and LG G6 , it’s now time for HTC 11. A tipster has hinted towards what next year’s HTC flagship device could look like, and the kind of specs it could boast.

A render shared by TechNews shows the HTC 11 boasting a design language that is very HTC-like, especially the back, which shares a lot of elements with this year’s HTC 10 . The big difference at the back is however the dual-camera setup, while up front, it boasts a borderless design.

HTC 11 specifications

As per the leakster, the HTC 11 is likely to come with a 5.5-inch display with QHD (2560×1440 pixels) resolution. Under the hood will be Qualcomm’s recently announced Snapdragon 835 octa-core chipset paired with Adreno 540 GPU. One of the talking points is likely to be the 8GB of RAM, which will be a first for HTC . Needless to say, multitasking and overall performance should be a breeze.

For photography, the HTC 11 is likely to boast a dual-camera setup at the back, which will include a pair of 12-megapixel snappers. For selfie lovers there will be an 8-megapixel snapper up front. Making sure everything ticks will be a 3,700mAh battery that will come with Quick Charge 4.0. This charging technology is 20 percent faster than Quick Charge 2.0. On the software front, the device is expected to run on Android Nougat 7.0 out-of-the-box, wrapped under the latest Sense UI.

Up till now, the HTC 11 seems like a powerhouse that can easily take on next year’s rumored flagship devices. But some of the specs and the overall design does seem to be too good to be true, so we advise you to take it with the proverbial pinch of salt. The tipster further claims that the HTC 11 will be launched next year with a price tag close to $691, which is approximately Rs 46,000.
