Guys, how much time do we need to charge a new mobile to have better battery life.

As per the advice from the dealers, we need to charge a new phone for 4 hrs in switched off mode.

Ok..After 4 hrs, we can regularly use our phone right? No need to drain the battery to get switched OFF and switch ON again. This used to be a practice some years back i think.

Yes bro , you can use the phone after 4 hrs charging completed.

Don't drain beyond 10% and don't charge beyond 90% .
And obviously Use original accessories

So 2 posts saying don't charge beyond 90%. This is news to me. Could you weigh in more on why this practice please?
