Go IP Global Services, a Dell partner has announced a public cloud infrastructure for SMB customers in India. Go IP is an India based IT solutions and services company with presence in South East Asia and North America. It provides end-to-end technology solutions and services within the Infrastructure domain to telecom operators, services providers, government and enterprise customers.

The cloud services by Go IP will be based on Dell’s 11th Generation PowerEdge Blade Servers, Dell Force 10 switches and Dell EqualLogic and Dell Compellent storage arrays, deployed in a high availability mode. In the first phase, the services will be rolled out in Q1 of 2012 from Go IP’s Global Managed Services Centre at Noida.

Go IP also announced its Cloud’s Ubiquitous Service Partner (CUSP) program. Under the program, it would work with 500 channel partners to deploy and support its cloud based services.

Rahul Swarup, MD and CEO, Go IP said, “Dell’s portfolio of technology products and its strategic roadmap in integrating its enterprise products like servers and storage is ideal for building a resilient and scalable public cloud infrastructure. It concurs with the business vision of Go IP to establish thought leadership in the space and create a total cost of ownership based ‘IT as a Service’ framework for the SMB customers to address their entire eco-system; including their internal IT needs and the needs of their community and vertical. We intend to traverse the learning curve of the cloud based services alongwith our channel partners and empower them to create the first-of-its-kind knowledge-based partnership in the emerging space of cloud computing.”

Satyen Vyas, Director, Medium Business, CSMB, Dell India, said, “We bring the combined force of our own IP (Intellectual Property) offerings and the partner ecosystem of open and capable platforms that allows customers to apply technology in heterogeneous environments, without getting locked into proprietary systems.”

Suresh Reddy, General Manager, Global Commercial Channel, Dell India, said, “ In our continued focus to build a robust partner ecosystem in the enterprise technology space, partnering with Go IP definitely puts us in a high vantage point to deliver high value solutions to our customers. This partnership with Go IP leverages the best of their cloud infrastructure and also their network of channel partners to address the ever growing needs of SMBs in India.”
