4 four-match test series is more than enough. It's important to keep people interested in the series as well, spanning a test series for more than 40 days isn't gonna help that cause. Short series are gonna help players and fans keep engaged in the game. And in the current format of Test Championship, every series either its 10-match or 2-match series gonna carry the same points. And there are many economic aspects in play as well.
