Atletico Madrid have not opened talks with Inter Milan over the transfer of Diego Forlan, contrary to reports on the continent.
The former Manchester United striker was quoted in Turkish media describing a potential 'dream' move to Inter after opening talks with the Serie A giants.
Italian media picked up on the allegations but, according to the player's agent Daniel Bolotnicoff the reports are unfounded, with Forlan set to stay in Spain.
"Since his return from holidays, Diego has not spoken to the media," Bolotnicoff told Madrid-based paper Marca.
"At the moment there aren't any offers from Inter or open negotiations with other clubs."
