Fire tv issue after upgrade

Hi,

Over the last few days I have issue in fire tv of slow internet whereas my laptop and mobiles do work excellently on same broadband connection. On the other hand ifI do run fire tv on mobiles or airtel hotspot, then it runs normally with good picture quality. I am clueless who is culprit here as I do have 25 mpbs connection working fine otherwise on laptop and mobiles. Same firetv runs good on mobile even with 5 mpbs connection.

Anyone else is facing the same issue??? how to contact cc for firetv??
 
yes till working for me as well on other connections but my broadband, may be my modem is culprit as fire tv going to band 5 and this band does not have much strength across walls , so may be change of modem or moving it closer to fire tv will do the trick.

You can use this link to contact amazon - Amazon Contact Us , make sure to select your FireTV Stick from the device menu and select the type of issue. Another thing if your are using a 5 GHz wireless modem then you can try changing it's settings to 2.4 GHz and try connecting again.

I faced this issue recently and Amazon had to do something from their end to correct it. Contact them and they will help you.
 
I have already talked to them and they said talk to you internet provider and tell him to change band to 2.5 instead of 5 and issue will be resolved as it is running fine on mobile and airtel hotspot.
 
Bro I think your problem is in your router/ modem. May be band problem.Just check it.
 
yes guys, it is modem only as I came to know that it is a single band only and not dual, so no chance of 5 band as it has only 2.4 one. So thing is that its range has reduced now. Moving closer will give some time but ultimately new modem is only solution. I think I will go for MI one.
