Hi

What better fiber or coaxial cable for internet connections ...

Considering that i am going to use internet apart from regular use including watching streaming services and may be iptv(may be regularly),you tube ,movies etc etc

What should be ideal speed and monthly data uasge

My area at present doesnt good have fibre services providers so /would coaxial cable will do

I want to go for fiber services because fiber is goin to be future

In 2019 if you want to take new internet connection, then go for fiber optical. Because its less chance to damage your router, lan port during lighting, thunderstorms. And uninterrupt connection during power cut (ups needed).

If watch movies, youtube, iptv, download games etc then your data usage would be at least or more than 500 GB per month. So go for unlimited plan with NO FUP limit. Minimum 40mbps speed is good for watching 4K..

I don't know that coaxial cable uses for internet also. For internet we actually use Cat 5E or Cat 6 cable with a RJ45 jack.

Definitely fiber is better. It is difficult to maintain your plan speeds on copper cables due to losses and signal interference.
