All the staff members, who worked under Anurag Thakur and Ajay Shirke in the Board for Control of Cricket in India (BCCI), will be removed, the Committee of Administrators has decided on Monday (February 6), according to media reports.

According to India Today, Rahul Johri, the BCCI chief executive officer, will send his delegates to shut the operations in the Delhi office. "The staff in both these offices had nothing to do. Hence we decided to end their service," Vinod Rai, the head of the committee told India Today.

"The staff attached with the erstwhile BCCI president and Hon. Secretary's office to be relieved," read a statement after the CoA had met in Delhi on February 1. It was then decided that the committee will appoint someone to look after the BCCI office in Delhi before the decision was made to shut operations.

Nishant Arora, the Indian team media manager, also has resigned from his post.

Thakur and Shirke were removed from their position by the Supreme Court on January 2 this year. The apex court then appointed Vinod Rai , Ramachandra Guha, Diana Edulji and Vikram Limaye to run the board on January 30.
