The milk and curd are likely to cost Rs 2 more from September 11. According to sources, the Karnataka Milk Federation (KMF) has decided to increase the price of milk and curd by Rs 2 per Kilo after the Ganesh Chathurthi festival.

The KMF is the second largest cooperative milk federation after AMUL. It markets the products under the brand name Nandini.

The production of milk has seen a big jump in the last few months in Karnataka.

The state government has refused to intervene in the matter and asked the milk federation to decide.
